Through various trainings, the following persons have been trained/aware about different types of natural and man-made disasters like earthquake, flood, fire, landslide, cyclone, chemical and biological disaster, rail, road etc. by the State Disaster Response Force, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. to be done

About 25,000 recruit sub-inspectors and recruit constables of UP Police, trained in various training institutes of the state, have been provided lectures related to disaster management and training regarding the role of police during disaster by State Disaster Response Force, UP.

About 3700 Naib Tehsildars, Kanungos and Lekhpals on the subject of "Disaster Amplification Capacity Enhancement" for first responder accountants to deal with different types of disasters in District Rural Development Institutes / Regional Rural Development Institutes of different districts of the state by the State Disaster Response Force, UP. Training provided.

About 20500 teachers and students of schools/colleges of various districts of the state were made aware by the State Disaster Response Force, UP through demos about the ways to avoid various disasters. About 17500 villagers of different districts of the state have been made aware about the ways to avoid floods and other disasters by the State Disaster Response Force, UP.

64 home guards of 13 flood-sensitive districts of the state were provided training in motor boat handling and disaster management by State Disaster Response Force, UP.

Providing 02-day training to 30 young men and women from each of the 10 most sensitive flood-affected districts of the state - Gorakhpur, Balrampur, Gonda, Bahraich, Maharajganj, Barabanki, Sitapur, Lakhimpur-Kheeri, Siddharthnagar, Kushinagar to avoid floods and other disasters has been done.

About 500 NCC cadets were trained in disaster management by the team of State Disaster Response Force, National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Joint Annual Camp, Lucknow and on 10.07.2022, 500 NCC cadets under the leadership of Commander Training was provided on the subject of disaster and relief rescue work.

From 23.05.2022 to 30.05.2022, a total of 285 U.P. Special Security Force were trained for disaster and relief rescue work by the team of State Disaster Response Force U.P.

Training of volunteers under the National Disaster Friend Project by the State Disaster Response Force, UP:

Under the Aapda Mitra project of the Government of India, at the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Headquarters, from 07-01-2022, 10200 volunteers from 25 districts of Uttar Pradesh will be prepared as Aapda Mitra to play an important role during the disaster. 12-day Aapda Mitra training is being provided in phases. In which at present a total of 2532 volunteers of districts Lucknow Balrampur, Moradabad, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Ghazipur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Prayagraj, Bulandshahar and Shrawasti have been trained and at present training will be provided to volunteers of districts Kushinagar and Santakbir Nagar. Mock drills done by the State Disaster Response Force, UP at various important places:

From the year 2018 till now by the State Disaster Response Force UP, mock exercises were conducted in the districts of Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Badayun, Gonda, Balrampur, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar for protection from stampedes and other disasters in highly crowded and sensitive places.

State Disaster Response Force, Uttar Pradesh made people aware through mock exercises in major establishments of different districts of the state like RBI Lucknow, RBI Kanpur, Amausi Airport Lucknow, Imambara Lucknow, Hindustan Petroleum Lucknow, Taj Mahal Agra, Fun Mall Lucknow, Raj Ghat Gorakhpur Gone.
